One of the things I brought with me this week was a little shelf and it was a very orangey-brown colour that I absolutely hated so I decided that I was going to paint it, and I also had a lamp with a wooden base and an old bread box, that I'm going to use to store my vhs tapes. They turned out really well and I thought I'd show you!
So the paint colour I chose is called West Coast from the Benjamin Moore Designer Classics Collection, it's a really nice blue toned grey, and I just bought one of the tester cans for $7. I did two coats on the shelf and just one on the lamp and they look so good. The bread box I tried to ombre with a white paint and just sponged it on. I'm actually so pleased with them and I'm so excited to get the rest of my furniture and fix up my room.
I tried to vlog this whole experience and it looks like a piece of poop so I'm going to keep learning before I actually upload anything, but I am definitely going to film a room tour when it's all done! Also I want to do something cool with the lampshade, but I can't really find anything online, so if you have an idea of what will go well with the colour please let me know in the comments below, or on instagram @delaneycassidyy!
